It's been awhile since I've 'blogged'....busy days followed by more busy days! Last weekend Mark and I took the kids to get our Christmas tree and it is our best one yet! As you can see in the picture above, our whole living room looks quite festive!
We have a busy weekend ahead of us. Tomorrow Paige and I have our 'mother/daughter' luncheon for Cheer leading. Afterwards we will be going to sub base to pick up Lillybug (she will be here for the weekend for a sleepover!) and then do some grocery shopping before the commissary gets completely insane for the holidays! Those of you who are military know what I am talking about! Sunday morning finds us in Church...the kids are having a special 'kids christmas celebration' of their own which they are looking forward to! Sunday evening we are meeting Paul and Ami at Kings Wok for dinner. Why? Because it is Sams birthday and that is the place he picked. How old will he be? SEVENTEEN!!! I am NOT old enough to be the mother of a 17 year old (and lets not talk about me having a 20 year old!!!).
Tuesday Sam flies out to Hawaii for Christmas to see Katie. It's been a few years since they've seen each other so that will be nice for both of them. Sam is even going to fly over to Kauai to visit my mother and her new husband. None of us has met him or even talked to him yet, so it will be nice for Sam to meet him! On Thursday, Shelby flies in for a little over two weeks! We are all so looking forward to that!! It looks like it will be a fun filled and busy Christmas as usual around here and we wouldn't have it any other way! :)
